I love pumpkins. The shape, the color, the taste. This past fall I came across an image of a cart full of pumpkins at a farmers market in New York. I suddenly thought wow this would make a great pattern. So off I set to capture the colors and the shapes.
I opted to create this pattern a bit old school. Meaning that I used a technique that does not require a computer, and was done completely on paper. Once I completed the image and made sure that all 4 sides of the square matched up so that it would be a seamless pattern, I then scanned it into the computer and then placed it in my stores. Below are some of the products that have been created with my design.
These leggings are available at Society6
Available at Spoonflower, my fabric store in a wide variety of fabric for any sewing need. In the above image this is eco canvas. It has a wonderful soft feel and makes up great as table mats or aprons to name just a few.
